I really wasn't. But the author has a talent for telling a story and drawing the reader in.I enjoyed the characters struggles, trying to overcome something that was forbidden on earth.
There was a section or two where I felt we were missing some back stories.

I loved this book! Such a great story here with danger, adventure, suspense, romance and quite a bit of steam. It's well written with a sci-fi world that is easily imagined. Selena never knew that her life was lacking until she met Haldor. Haldor had no problem showing her what she had been missing and together they were perfect. Great read!! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
The spankings and the weird Earth where no one touches is just not for me. I cringed at every sentence.
Good book.
